It’s been a while since I’ve posted on The Hope Antidote and I wanted to give a little update about what’s been going on, what direction I’m heading in, etc.
The Hope Antidote has been a very special project for me, very close to my heart, as its probably the most vulnerable I’ve ever been in my published writing. Sharing about my mental health has been one of the hardest, but also one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever done. It’s been a huge part of my own healing journey, and I feel so privileged to have been able to hear some of the stories shared with me from some of you as well.
If this space has helped anyone feel less alone, I’m so glad.
Lately, though, I’ve felt pulled to simplify.
Being a working mom of two young kids, I only have so much (read: very little) free time and energy to spend on my writing. Maintaining multiple blogs and social media accounts has just become too much for me. I’ve also been focusing more on fiction writing and storytelling, which is truly where my love of writing began.
So, I’ve decided to bring everything under one roof: Stephanie Coder Writes.
Going forward, I’ll be focusing my energy there and on my new Substack newsletter, where I’ll be sharing personal essays, updates on my writing journey, the novel I’m currently working on, and more stories that remind us we’re not alone.
The Hope Antidote will always be a part of my story, and all of the posts here will remain available. But for now, this space will be taking a quiet pause, a break.
If you’d like to continue to follow along, I would love to connect with you on my new website and my Substack.
Thank you so much for coming along with me on this journey.
~Stephanie
