35 things I know…or at least I’m pretty sure of…or at least have been true for me. Link in bio.

New blog post delving into, what I refer to as, the time I fell apart. It was back in 2011 when my anxiety really came to a head. Little did I know, I would be struggling with debilitating anxiety for years to come. But my prayer in writing this post is that it would give anyone who reads it, who might be struggling with what feels like debilitating anxiety, a glimmer of hope because recovery is possible. Even if you’re in the throes of it. Even if you feel like you’ll never get better. Recovery is possible.

We are the main characters of our story. We don’t know what anyone else is going through, the sleepless nights they have, the diagnosis, the depression, the chronic pain, the painful memories, the recent loss. We don’t know. We only know our experience but everyone else is living an equally vivid, beautiful, difficult story. #bekind

Lessons learned. This was a big one for me. In 2011, my anxiety reached a peak I wasn’t prepared for and I couldn’t figure out why my mind and body were betraying me. That’s what it felt like. A strange betrayal. I didn’t want to feel what I was feeling. I certainly didn’t understand it.
